Grid 9000
A modern take. A stone cold classic.
A monster of a shoe born in 1994. It offered the lot – cushioning, support and durability. No-one messed with the Grid 9000!
Introducing that sweet spot into athletic footwear.
The G.R.I.D System acted as a blueprint for Saucony’s future; serving up tech shoes from the 90’s.
The Grid 9000 stands for innovation.
No gimmicks, just sound, logical and understandable evolutions through technology to building better and better athletic footwear.
Enhancing stability and reducing shock with every stride.
Heritage
In 1991 we released the GRID (Ground Reaction Inertia Device) technology. Launched in the GRID SD silhouette, it arrived shortly afterwards in the GRID 8000 & 9000.
Game changer
-
The year that the GRID technology broke cover, it used negative space to create sweet spot shock absorption.
-
GRID guides the foot through the gait cycle for maximum support and control.
-
The GRID concept is still used today in Saucony shoes, with the PWRGRID+ cushioning system.
